What type of photo shoots do you offer?
Stiffness and corporate 'aesthetics' are not my scene. They pail in comparison to warm, relaxed images that feel most authentic to you. Instead, I offer primarily on-location natural photography in your space of choice.
How long is a session?
One-on-one headshot shoots take 90 minutes. The intention is to get you feeling at ease and comfortable—hard to do that when you're under pressure. We'll have a planning session ahead of the date so you'll be well prepared on the day and I'll be your guide throughout.
When and how do I select my headshots?
Around two weeks after your session, I'll send you a link to an online gallery where you can pick your three favourites from there. All images come professionally edited (minus excessive retouching) in high res with a full print release.
Are We Aligned?
Alignment comes from your intentions and story. If you have a big heart for your service (or craft) and a deep want to share it, I'm on your wavelength.
The soul and drive you bring to the table feed mine.

How do you ensure the photos align with my brand story and messaging?
Before the shoot, we'll have a detailed consultation to understand your brand, your story, and your vision. Your brand messaging, voice and visual preferences are vital parts of the process. It's the best way to ensure every image we capture is a reflection of your brand identity and complements your overall marketing strategy.
Can you help me if I’m not sure what my brand story is?
Absolutely! Helping you refine or discover your brand story is a huge part of The Copy Therapist approach. Through collaborative brainstorming and the StoryBrand framework, we’ll articulate the unique aspects of your brand that will resonate with your audience.
What will you photograph?
Whatever you feel your business needs! I offer a mix of personal branding photography, product photography, workspace photography, and natural lifestyle photography. The intention is to give you the shots your website needs to paint a cohesive, consistent picture for your audience. And give you more confidence and clarity around your brand, making marketing it much easier.
I'm not a big fan of my workspace, where will we shoot?
If your home or workspace isn't ideal, we can put our heads together and brainstorm a few alternative rental options for your shoot. And there's always the outdoors! Just imagine all that natural light.
What is your pricing structure?
Pricing depends entirely on your specific requirements, including the scope of the shoot, location, and number of final images needed. Like your business, there's a lot of variables. Still, I'm not a big fan of surprises, which is why I always offer a free initial consultation to discuss your needs. After that, I'll provide a detailed quote via email, and we can take it from there.
How long does the process take?
The entire process typically takes between 2 to 6 weeks, depending on your specific needs. Quality and alignment with your brand are the name of the game here, and that takes a little more time.
